Music = Beauty

Laurel:
It took us quite a while to decide which song to use for this post, and I think most of that was due to the fact that both Becca and I think music is one of the most beautiful things. We decided that we would go with a song that both of us loved, which narrowed it down, but only slightly. After some thinking from both of us, Becca texted me and said something along the lines of "It just hit me! I Hope You Dance!" and I instantly agreed. "I Hope You Dance" is sung by LeeAnn Womack, and I believe that this song has some of the most beautiful lyrics of all time. They really make you think, and at least for me, they really make me feel. I felt pretty lucky, when searching YouTube for a good video, I found this one. Not only is the song itself beautiful, but the pictures for this video are also beautiful. This is a beautiful song, with a beautiful message, sung by a beautiful woman, with a beautiful voice, put to a beautiful video.

Becca:
Along with everything Laurel says, there is also another tie to a more personal beauty brought forth from this song. One of our good good friends Kaitlin Lund has an absolutely amazing voice, and this is one of her favorite songs to sing.
(A little convo we had on twitter the other night)

I Hope You Dance comes on the radio is the first thing on my mind :)
I just heard it too!! Sang the whole thing :)

You know how friendships can have a song? Well this is one of ours.
Every aspect of this song has beauty to it.
