This photo was captured on the road to my house. The fall is my favorite time of the year which adds to the beauty of this image.

This is a shot of the sunset from Pine Island on Lake of the Woods. We arrived on the east side of the island and spent a while on that side. When we made our way to the west side of the island with the soft sandy beach, this was the view I saw. I thought it was absolutely breathtaking and had to document it. A few friends and I sat on a log on the beach and watched it sink lower and lower over the water. I couldn't help but sit in awe as I watched the beauty of the natural world unfold in front of me.
